Hey guys, I read through most of the ultragauge threads concerning the trans temp but I cannot get it to work. I recently purchased this already pre-programmed and it included the code listed in the threads. I was hoping you guys can help me figure out what I'm doing wrong. Here is the code that it came with:

I picked up the mx 1.3 with preprogrammed codes for the trans temp and had the exact same issue. You need to manually program the correct code into it. Here you go:

Codes for 2005-2011 Trans temps *F:
    M Gauge 5 Exit
    Abbr1:Trn Abbr2:*F
    TData: 07E021D9000000
    TCtrl:92 RCtrl: 10
    RPos:1810 Mtch:210000
    X:0001 /:0100 +:FFD8
    Out Format:10 Ave:00
    Left/Right:41

Codes for 2012-2015 Trans temps *F:
    TDATA: 07E02182
    MTCH: 6182
    RPOS: 2808
    RCTRL:21
    TCTRL:92
    X: 0009
    /: 0005
    +: FFD8
    Output format: 00
    Left/Right is 31

Edit: On second look it looks like you programmed the correct code (assuming yours is 05-11)

Damn i have 2010 and keep displaying err even with these codes, which i think are the correct ones. Or at least what the sheet told me to enter. Do you have the Mx 1.3?

FYI, i want to say 05-09 had one set of codes and 10+'s had a different set.

might of been 05-11 and 12+.

Alls i know is my 8 dollar OBD bluetooth adaptor and torque pro on android (free) do a great job of reporting torque converter output temps and trans pan temps.

Interesting, i got my Ultraguage last week and trns temp works fine. At least i think thats the guage i added... what is the name of trans temp when displayed?

P.S. Ultraguage is WAY better than Scanguage. Dont know why anyone would ever wanna buy a scanguage....
