So I just finished my rear L/T setup & now looking at options for bedsides, Anyone pull the factory bedsides instead of running fiberglass? If so please post pics. TIA Like I said, I'm just wanting to see what options I have before spending the $

i pulled the fenders on my 2004 taco i had.. with a TC kit in the front and stock in the rear i stuffed 33" tires with ease.. just cut the brace in the middle then i put a lil piece of a 2x4 on the inside of the fender, put a car jack on the tire and started cranking.. pulled them out perfect with out distortion.. then just bracket up the cut inside the fender and longer brackets on the bottom mounts.. this is the only pic i really have left of the truck but u can see the rear is fully stuffed in the fender well taco3_zpsn6dkgeac_128620906c4436bd8bce604d097751794a9a5fab.jpg

I think 285s stuff nicely with pulled bedsides. (body damage from wheeling/brush not pulling bed)

Pushing/pulling the sheetmetal on on the outside of the bed out to give it a flared look and more tire coverage

Its really not all that noticable and probly not worth the hassle if its just for the looks. The purpose is to be able to stuff your rear tires up inside the fender wells for more travel, usually for long travel as a way to avoid getting fiberglass bedsides.

    I originally pulled my bedsides

Then I just got bedsides. Much better I rubbed some with the stock pulled.

do it right the first time, you got all that money in that rear suspension then complement it with clean fiberwerx or glassworks bedsides, dont cut corners cause its cheaper when in the long run itll be cheaper and easier just to get glass
