I really liked that one, and I was going to pursue getting a used snow mobile track to accomplish the same idea. I really liked how it could be easily rolled up and put aside, as well.

However I could not for the life of me find any reviews. See I know maxtraxs work, the issue is getting them to Canada for a decent price, which is hard since they are expensive to begin with. I know you get what you pay for, but still. So trying to find something comparable, but no reviews.

Damn. No too shabby. I'll have to read some reviews, and see how they work. Thanks for the links

Would love to get some of your feedback on those. Whether they crack or what not. I think the snotty built ones are cheaper but the quality is terrible (from reviews).

    Let us know.

They look like good quality. Haven't had a chance to use them yet but I know @Shmellmopwho has them so maybe he can chime in and give us a review?

Talked to @Shmellmopwho who directed me to @Cohbsteq. He mentioned that they seemed very sturdy and worth the money, based in the two time he has used them.

Honestly think that the MAXSA boards are the cheapest and best quality in terms of bang for the buck that we can get in Canada. Especially with the dollar right now. You can get these for just shy of $300 on Amazon.ca with free shipping.

    Looks good, very good indeed.

The only other alternative I would consider is the Maxtrax group buy on Expedition Portal when details are determined.

after pricing them out on group buys here, it was only a $50 savings but then the shipping would have been an issue. $150 plus what ever duties would have been. You know its going to be a lot since ups/fedex don't like handling big packages. lol

Ill have to keep my out on the regional section on expedition portal to see if theres a group buy or something. That free shipping though from Amazon really makes it tempting.

I ended up buying the new version of TREDS though their Kickstart campaign. It was just over 200 dollars CAD for a set of their new evolved product that should be much stronger than the last version. The only caveat is that I have to wait until receive them this spring. Shipping was free.

I remember that kick starter. I thought the shipping was going to be ridiculous since most of the time it's only free shipping within the states. Would love to hear about them when you get them.

The shipping was free to Canada, the USA, and somewhere else IIRC. I'll post here when I get them if I remember. The best part was that they were priced in Australian dollars. They actually cost less in CAD because the conversion at the time was in our favor.

Shoot I didn't even check the conversion. Just assumed it would be more. Dang. Oh well, look forward to see them

Too bad for me, these TREDS Pro only arrive in April, too late for me...

I found a place in Australia that has free shipping on Maxtrax. http://www.toughtoys.com.au/products/categories/97/

With CAD and AUD being pretty much equal its cheaper than getting them out of the states. Not sure if there will be any duty/taxes when they get here.

EDIT: they just emailed me and said its not free shipping after all... getting a quote now...

I am curious to see how much they charge for shipping. It might be too late for me since I already placed an order for Maxsa Innovations on Amazon.ca.

Just saw the edit. Wondering what the difference and final dollar difference is.
