Rear Dif leaking oil now!!!!

We went mudding today in my 88 yota nothing extereme and on the way back stoped to get gas and noticed oil comeing out the top op the rear diff and running down the side and dripping on the ground! I though these trucks where built tuff but any way it would had been a simple fix but i noticed on this toyota that its ass backwards compared to other trucks which u can simply take off the dif dust cover and replace the seal well here it seems i have to take it off from the front side THE FRONT SIDE!!!! where the drive shaft hooks to the dif so how the hell do u do this? i know i tried to remove the shaft that hooks to the driveline on my 97 jimmy last winter when the rear end went out and it would not budge! i sure hope to god it comes out on the toyotas if not then i dont see any way of fixing this! What where they thinking when they made it like this? any way you guys have any ideas?

Do some research....look for the torque specs on the 3rd member bolts and check to make sure they're tight.
