Was thinking of doing something similar, only on the driver's side to reduce sun glare/reflection. Can you do only half the hood?

I like CF, it looks cool. I am curious how well it will hold up. My brother used to have an actual CF hood on his car and it faded over time.

It'll look MUCH better when you do the roof also, imo.

Not my style at all, but not my truck either. I think it would look a lot better if you do something with the grille. Nice job on the wrap but it clashes a lot with the chrome in my opinion.

There are some kits around that 3M makes where you can do your own custom designs. They have really thin tape with a thread inside that you lay down before you put the wrap down, pull the thread and throw away the unwanted wrap. Easy peasy lemon squeezy.

Wrap the whole truck. Weight savings alone are worth it.

i agree. the hood alone doesn't fit for me but with the roof done it'll all come together. looks like you did a great job applying it tho

Personally I think I'd rather wrap smaller areas with a carbon fiber look like the side mirrors, grill, fog light surrounds.

$100 for the material. It's fairly expensive for the real 3M 1080 Carbon Fiber. You can buy no name brands on ebay but I chose to use the real thing.
