The 40cal fit perfect. I used hot glue gun and a bunch of empty shell casings, and made like 50 for friends and family... They look awesome after weathering...

    Hello gang,

I've been perusing this thread checking out the nicely outfitted trucks. While I'm not new to Tacomas, or Toyota's in general, I'm new to the 2012 T|X Pro model. A couple of weeks ago I picked up a mint condition 2012 T|X Pro TRD in black, with only 49k miles on the ticker. I'm very pleased with this setup, although if I could go back a few years I probably would have kept my 2005 Taco.....but, live and learn.

So, now I have a 2012 Tacoma that I do not intend on wheeling.

My wheeling days are way behind me with my 4Runner....which some of you may have seen... That thing was a wheeling beast that could tackle anything.

I have since moved on to newer and faster ways of hurting myself....specifically on a 2012 KTM 500EXC. I absolutely love this bike, and thus, I needed a truck to haul it, my camping gear and have the ability to tow some crap as well.

So, I've read that there are (or maybe) some issues with the 2012 Vibrations, which may become more pronounced with lifting these trucks.
As stated above, I will not be wheeling my truck, but it will be going off road to get to certain locations with my KTM. I was looking at the Toytec 2.5" lift with the rear add-a-leafs to put on my truck. Yes, I've read about the long list of people that have ditched their spacers in favor of a real lift. Again, I'm not interested in wheeling my rig, nor am I that interested in putting larger tires on. The real reason for the lift is that I don't like the way the front skid sits so low to the ground. As you can see from the 4Runner, I'm no stranger to modifying things, but in this case, I want to keep the modifications to a minimum while retaining the decent drivability (not looking for anything super plush).

So, my question to anybody who has the 2.5" toytec...... Any issues with this lift.

edit: I should have stated that I intend on mounting an ARB and winch in the distant future too....

Billies all the way around with the front set at .85, OME 885 coils and a Toytech AAL in the rear. Next is tires. I think I'll get the Coopers ATP 265/75/16s

hmmm, guess nobody every used the spacers....
Just as well, decided to get some front Billies and rear add-a-leaf.
Also picked up a Diff-Drop and a Driveline drop too.
    Hopefully that will be enough

Google around...it is available at a few other places. My local Line Ex place ordered it for me.
Someone mentioned to me they ceased manufacturing it a while back...so whatever is in stock is all that is available.
