Can't you use full metal jacket in an indoor range? My dad had some blazer ammo for his .357 it was the silver coated shell. NOt brass I don't think. He was saying he didn't know if I could shoot a full metal jacket in an indoor range.

I've been shooting Aguila 124gr lately. Got 1000 rounds of it on sale from MidwayUSA a couple months ago and haven't had much spare time to go shooting so I'm still working through that. When it runs out I've got a bunch of Freedom Munitions that I'll start on. Haven't used their 9mm yet, but I've been shooting their 200gr .45 reloads and they've been excellent.

    Edit-
Speaking of MidwayUSA, they're running a selective 10% off sale for the next couple of days, if anyone was looking to order something from them.

I've never had an issue with FMJ at any of the ranges I've been too, however I've heard of ranges that don't like it. All it takes is some asshole with steel-core ammo to punch some holes in their expensive bullet traps to ruin it for everyone.

IIRC ranges are more scared of sparks from the steel jacketed ammo lighting up the powder residue that's all over the ground from people shooting all day:

However I did chew up an AR500 steel gong that I used to own with Russian 7.62x39. 5.56 just disintigrated. It got so chewed up that I felt uncomfortable using it close range for pistol.
I know bullet traps are angled, less chance of damaging them, but I could still see a range owner being over-protective maybe.

What is the reason for it? Conceal carry, then get the G27 (smaller easy to conceal). For home protection or open carry, get the G22 (more ammo). IMHO.

I got the G22, G26 & G27. I like the 22 best but the 27 is still a good shooter. I gave the 26 to my wife to carry, she seems to like.

I know this is a few pages back, but I had to comment. This made me laugh without the next sentences for reference.

Rented the M11A1, P229, and P320 Compact today to try and determine my first pistol to buy. Not sure if it really helped :) as all of them were great.

    M11A1
-Fatter grip than the 229 and 320, but a nice feel
-Trigger feel on finger is a little weird on the DA shot
-Recoil is nice, SA shots are very nice and controlled
-Slide easy to rack, slide lock is positioned more to the rear on Sigs, still a good location, just different than what I'm used to
-De-cocking lever is very easy and a good feature

    229
    -Slim grip and profile
-DA trigger pull is a little strong (same # as the M11, but felt stronger for some reason)
-Recoil and SA feel is also very nice
-Slide also easy to rack, slide lock in same position as M11
-De-cocking lever is very easy and a good feature

    320 Compact
-Probably middle of the road for these 3 for grip size
-I prefer external hammer rather than striker fired
-DAO is pretty nice, although trigger pull is a tiny bit too light for my liking (safety)
-Slide is too heavy to me for racking

Overall, they were all great as far as quality feel, size, and shooting feel. Little differences like the grip will make the difference for me. I believe the real choice is between the M11 and 229 for me, but really, they are very similar pistols. (almost identical...)

50 rounds each at 7-8 yards. Top left is M11, top right is 229, bottom is 320. I was shooting low for some reason with all of these, but I believe that was a user error and I was not bringing my front sights up enough. Overall though a good and fun day of shooting for me.

Sorry, I have no exp with the new stock. At my local shop I have picked it off the shelf numerous times to tinker with the adjustments and find them easy to spin and find the overall fit to be very comfortable. I have been close to buying it each time I am in and I am there a few times a week.
I do have exp with their SKS stock and Mini 14(a small issue but, due to personal preference not quality). I like them both and have had no issues with many rounds fired through each.
If you have seen it in person you know that it looks and feels fantastic. It is honestly impressive knowing their hot/cold history. I suspect Springfield is aware of that history and has done their math when choosing them as a supplier.
