how do you take off the door sill guard?

Im trying to put on door sill portectors i have no idea how to get the gray plastic piece off. Any help?

 

I would suspect clips, I haven't taken mine off but everything on that truck inside is clips. Go slow, I bet they pop right up with a little umph...

Start at the rear. They come off very easily with a simple pinch and lift.

Yes, but take it straight up evenly, or you may bend or break a couple of pins near the front. Again, everything goes straight up.

Theres mine, be sure to to align from the outside edge rather then the inside, the sill plates covers the back of the guards. overlal, they are ok, nothing too fancy and you pay for the tacoma.
