    I just read this article. Parents having to go to court because there kids were a couple blocks from there house during the day. I biked to kindergarden a half a mile from my house everyday when I was 5 and I played in the parks a couple blocks from my house. Apparently my parents should have been arrested.

    I think the law there was you have to be at least 13 to accompany a child without and adult present. Not that I don't agree cause as a kid I too had lots of freedom to play and wonder. The 80's were awesome!
