Time to call out all those Tacos rocking the "All Tire" look. Post pics of otherwise BA Tacomas which have rims that are so flat and black that you can't even tell they have wheels, much less any stylin' aftermarket upgraded rims. Congrats on spending 4 figures on something you can't even see!

This thread is meant to be light hearted with dry humor, btw. Obviously a lot of people are into dark black wheels and enjoy them. I just happen to prefer to be able to see what mine look like lol.

My first vehicle was in 1979 and there have been a lot of them since. Most have had chrome or alloy wheels with a few butt ugly steel wheels thrown in. I've finally decided that chrome sucks in every possible way. I would rather look at screwing pigs than another piece of chrome anything. Alloy is okay but still too "chromy" for my tastes. And wheels colored to match paint just look lame. But they don't look as lame as the colored wheels some of the youngins seem to like. Especially the contrasting red and lime green ones. Just screams poor broke dick 16 year old ricer. Not many options left for me except simple satin black. And since I am way beyond having my ego and identity tied up in a tool that is used for transportation and recreation that means spending hundreds of dollars on custom rims is a nonstarter. So its painted or powder coated satin black stock alloys for me. Which of course is tagged by a large number of TW posters as butt ugly, sucking, lame, and broke dick. :)

Black wheels ftw! Mine have a little bling though, does that mean they're not *completely* useless? ;)

I came home from wheeling one day, and found one wheel perfectly coated in that color. Tan/dirt. So I painted all 4 like that.
