I decided to do the diy satoshi grill mod today, but i have a few questions before cutting up my grill.
I'm wondering about the two horns, and if they can be relocated. since ill be putting LED's behind grill, i'm gona need that room. I found two holes beside battery where they could be screwed in. would that work?
Also, for hanging lights behind grill, is there a good and easy way of doing that? I was thinking of getting 7" bolts and put them through the plastic pieces that attach the grill to the truck. Basically would hang exactly where i want them too on either side of the logo. (instead of putting round lights, i decided to put 2 4" cree LED off road lights.)
I know this all might be hard to visualize, but any help would be appreciated!

I mounted my lights to the grille support and it works fine. One drawback is once it's there it's there. I gave myself some extra wire so I can remove my grille if need be. I can post up some pics if I can find some in my vast collection of pics.

    Yea would really appreciate that!
I just finished the bondo for my satoshi, gona sand it and start painting tomorrow. I started looking at how to mount the lights, i got some 6 inch bolts that i think will be fine once painted black, that i would put through the two plastic grill attachments (where the two screws that hold the grill are).
Im actually a bit scared about cracking the plastic with the weight of lights plus bouncing when off roading.. think that could happen?

I suppose you could go all the way through with a bolt. I just used some large diameter wood screws, tapped out the plastic and put two screws in each flat bracket. Been there almost 2 years no issues.

Great thanks! since i have 2 6" bolts i might try to go all the way through, itll be adjustable and then i can cut the extra off.
Not sure if i see correctly, your horn and temp sensor you put at your bottom grill? thinking of relocating them there too. no problems?

I got rid of the stock horns and installed Hella triple tones behind the bumper.

Also, don't forget to take the flat black spray paint to areas behind the grille, makes it look tons better.

Shit bolted onto other shit, and junk.
No problem, just your horn may be louder to you than the vehicle in front of you. I mounted mine in front of battery and behind the headlight since i am mounting a fuse panel in your location.
