anyone running a led lightbar in the lower valance that relocated their license plate? or you just running um without the plates? I'm planning on buying a led lightbar for my lower valance but not sure what to do with my front plate. I would really like to just completely take it off but don't want to be bothered by the cops

Yeah i got my blitzpro led bar an rigid duallys in the lower valance. Since i got the grill craft from blaine i might mount my plate behind the grill. But yeah every since i bought my truck ive never run a front plate. Its still in the plastic sitting in my glove box.

how's the quality of the blitzpro led bar? I know there are many different brands out there (rigid, okc, etc.) Was gonna run a led light bar in the lower valance like yours so I guess my concern is water/moisture. I know blitzpro makes some awesome switches

Rigid makes a good quality light bar and they don't have as much of an issue with moisture but the warranty they have is really good. If you are really worried about moisture then when you buy the light bar add an extra layer of clear silicone.

was considering Rigid but they have hefty price tag. Its a matter of quality/price or settling with something on the lower end

The price tag is hefty but hey they are good quality. If you want a good light bar for cheap message Mikevee on here for a good deal.

I had my blitzpro about a year now an have had zero problems. To be honest the light output isnt what i expected it to be. I think its suppost to be like 4000 lumens. My rigid duallys are actually brighter.

But ill be moving it behind my grill sometime this year.

As for cops, i havnt had any problems. I actually went through a dui checkpoint and all the coo said was u no u cant have red turn signals in the front of your truck. I had my light bar an duallys with no plate.

Ive got a 1st gen tho, but 50'' curved on top with relentless fab mounts and a straight 50'' on bottom with custom mounts. Light is mounted to a angle iron, which is mounted to the bumper frame.. Surprising how much space there is!..and those are morimoto minis d2s projectors. pic was from a brake job lmao

Hawaii state law: front license plate must be lower than your headlights. Cutting it kind of close with the top of the license plate close to the bottom of the headlights.

Edit: I did this for awhile but read somewhere that the plate had to be lower than the head lights. And of course, I can't find it now. I also didn't like it because junk would get stuck in between the license plate and the bumper (leaves, twigs, trash, etc). It's unfortunate Hawaii mandates a front license plate. Chalk it up to a cost of living in paradise. o_O
