When i worked at the tire shop i hated the White out.. bc I was the new/young guy (17 at the time) so i got stuck being the one to scrub the coating off... it sucked alot in the winter time.. soo cold getting your hands wet..

Heres my a pic for contrast.... I had the same dilemma... Usually would go Black out, (Did with last two sets on my old truck) but decided to experiment, and do something new (for me) ...and my buddy at discount said they'd switch it if i couldnt stand it.
I think my truck has enough chrome and white lettering on the badging that it works, and has good contrast, but its different for each color and style.... my style right now is called "Stock". you're prolly familiar with it..:D The only other opinion I would share about it is white letters out seems more 'showoff-y'.... Like i wouldn't do it if I hadnt sprung for BFG's [IMG]

White letter in? Out? I had a tough time deciding too when I put mine on last week. I decided out. I may be in the minority around here, but I like chrome wheels and white letters.

BTW, we need to see what you decided and how they look. Here's mine...

I love the white letters out with black rims. They are a pain in the ass to keep clean, but so are the black rims.

Flip a coin. Both sets of tires I've had on my truck were black both sides so I never had the option. I'm kinda partial to white in, but white out doesn't look terrible in my opinion.

Thanks man! It's all about the little details, and the white out is one of them. ;)

Very Nice, what was the final cost of the tires and install? Did they buy your current ones (I'm assuming they were pretty new)?

Also what vent visors are those?

I have the Mag Gray, TRD Sport also is why I'm interested ;-)

It was $900.00 out the door.... and a friend is buying my old one (they only had 489 miles on them)

The vent's are from weathertech, they are in channel, only way to go..

White in, hard to keep them looking white mine get dirty quickly and when I am offroad they get pushed against obstacles etc... I think they look fine when you drive away from the tire shop though.
