Denver LED gauge swaps...

Sorry, retired from swaps. Just too busy with work and now family/kids. guess y'all will have to rely on all the upcoming millennials to do your swaps, they got nothing else to do in their parents basements anyways, right?!! haha

im in denver and canNOT do your cluster for you. you buy the LEDs (BUY THE CLUSTER, STEERING WHEEL AND CLOCK LEDS HERE!!) and/or (RADIO LEDS HERE!!), cluster for $60, radio for $120, steering wheel controls for $30 and 2010+ clocks for $20. i have done 100+ other clusters (including my own back in '07), a few radios, steering wheels and 2010+ clocks, so i have experience, email me your screen name to xxxxxxxxxxxx if your interested...

for ease of reference and ordering, here is the required amount of LEDs for each aspect of the cluster:
- Background = 11
- Needles = 7
- Turn Signals = 2 per side
- Additional indicators (ie CEL, Batt, Cruise etc..) = 1 per light

Radio:
05-08 (JBL or Non-JBL) - 55 LEDs
09+ (JBL or Non-JBL) - 67 LEDs

Steering wheel - 6 total LEDs

2010+ clock - 3 LEDs

the two per blinker is not always true.. I did sock monkeys today and his only had one per arrow. his truck is a 07. I would assume 07+ would be one.

 

i believe at least the 05s had two (mine did IIRC), so better safe than sorry w/ those numbers. i left them as generic as possible so its foolproof for someone that knows nothing about swapping the LEDs (hopefully!). if anything, its only a $1 worth of extra LEDs! plus you might get a bad one anyways!

 

i did a cluster from a guy in vegas, received it and had it out to him next day. i get excellent discount shipping at my work, so let me or seth know!

 

bump...I'll be in temecula over thanksgiving weekend for those in the SD area that want this done...

 

i would post in the socal section, i would like to do the radio and cluster. what would you charge for both

 

cluster = $50
radio = $100 (i know that may sound like a lot, but there are over 50 LEDs and the screen ones are a PAIN to do. i have done one though before, so i do have experience)

so $150 for both. same deal, you buy the LEDs and drive out to me.

 

Yeah i want them for sure too, and i live in Temecula. So do we need to buy the LEDS seperate? If so from where? i must have missed this part.

FYI, order the LEDs quick, i will be in temecula from the 25t to the 29th...but also need to spend time w/ the family. so far i have two guys coming out on friday the 27th, maybe you can join in on the fun!

 

how man leds for PARKING "P" REVERSE "R" NEUTRAL"N" DRIVE "D" and so on???
