I got one from Autozone for under $10, works like a charm. No difference from the stock antenna.

I have that exact antenna on my truck. I don't remember if it is the 9" or 12". I live in Topeka but I like to listen to some FM radio stations in Kansas City which is about 75 miles away. My stock antenna could pick them up with no problem. This stubby antenna will not bring them in. I would say the range is about 10 miles less with this antenna because as soon as I get just a ways out of town it starts to pickup the KC stations.

Also keep in mind that this antenna has NO give whatsoever. I always remove it when I go through an automated car wash. It only takes a few seconds to do so.

Don't waste your money. I had one of those & the antenna is press fit into the base & after a couple trips on the interstate this is what you'll have.
