    Not to bad. slightly angled but with tougher mor durable CV boots they were fine. stock boots ripped within the first few months

    I believe it is Solid Axle Swap (SAS) and Independant Front Suspension (IFS). Someone will correct me if I am wrong.

    I don't understand. How would you not be swapping the axle out? The difference between SAC and SAS are subtle. No?

    Here is how I understand it.

    With a SAC kits... conversion kit includes all the necessary brackets to convert independent front suspension (IFS) to a solid axle system. But you still need to install a solid axle... Right?

    I don't think one exists for the Tacoma yet. I guess All-Pro has one in development..?

    With SAS you're going to work with a blow torch and cutting out all the IFS stuff. Everything is custom and you are replacing the axle. Dana 44, Dana 60, etc...

    I always look to Wyatt's build thread as a great example.

    im talking about the actual process

    on a jeep you would be swapping an axle...from a D44 to a D60 or something of the sort

    on a NEW toyota youre converting the vehicle to SFA...an old toyota youd be swapping from a toyota to something else

    I've seen a 2nd gen with 44's somewhere on this website. Its black I think. Thats bout all I can remember from it. I'll see if i can dig it up
