I own a 1999 tacoma 4x4 4 cyl. 2.7L 3RzFE 5-speed. My repair manual is not clear as to where exactly the ECT (engine coolant temp. sensor) is located. The manual states it is attached to the thermostat housing but there is nothing there except a hose. I suspect it is the small, one wire connected to the outlet engine's cooant housing that attaches to the upper radiator hose which is at the left of the engine near the air filter when standing uder the hood looking in. Am I correct? Any diagrams would be appreciated for future use.

    Thanks in advance,
    Corey

And you're sure this diagram applies to my 1999 year?
