I just spoke to Doug at RW Toyota, I sent him the pics and right now he is blaming UPS. There is no box damage whatsoever. This looks to be a long process. Frustration continues to mount!

I know, I am going to give him a call back after lunch. he didnt seemed to concerned which really pisses me off all the more. I want them overnighted. I was supposed to have these dang things put on tomorrow.

 

He can blame UPS all he wants, but if the packaging isn't damaged, the only way they could of got damaged during transit would be by severe shaking - that's unlikely, and the inside packaging should stop it.

 

I agree there is no way this could have happened by shaking. UPS is going to come get them, inspect them and then notify the the stealer. This is stupid!! F-you RW toyota

 

I am just going to insist that they give me my money back, and send me a packing slip to send these bastards back. i will buy them from somewhere else.

I am calling corporate, this is ridiculous.

 

Contact UPS, ask them if they can pick up the wheels due to consealed damage, tell them what the shipper is saying. Contact the credit card people and ask about stopping payment. Keep every name of every person you talk to, first and last. Note times and dates.
This blows, sorry to hear they are taking this road.

Weird, I didn't think an aluminum rim would bend/ding like that such as a steel wheel would - figured it would crack first on such a big ding.

If you bought them with a credit card, you can file with the CC company and they can take the refund the money that you paid for the wheels.

My brother bought some speakers online and were damanged during shipping. Both the vendor and UPS wouldn't take blame for it. He took a case with the credit card company. They gave him his money back and he got to keep his somewhat damaged speakers. (4k speakers for free)

There's your problem. They were shipped via UPS.

Yeah, I would return the rims, get your money back and buy from another place, these guys don't deserve your business.

 

The shipper is responsible to provide enough cushion/protective material to withstand the normal abuse a package will endure during transit. NOT the Courier (UPS).

If the shipment was insured, then you can probably get your money back from UPS. If not, The shipper better man up and refund you your money.
