    crap bolted and welded together....
    so im going to be getting my all pro front bumper soon. Wondering how far your front dropped with the added weight. I have a non-trd with factory coils and a revtek spacer up front, 4X4. Trying to decide if i may have to get some new shocks upfront if it sags to far. thanks

    That is a lot of weight added to the front. I would consider replacing the spacers with OME 885s coils at the least

    No it's really not, the stock bumper weighs in the neighborhood of 50lbs with everything on it and the All pro is about 110lbs according to all pro. So really your only adding about 70ish lbs to be safe. That's a couple cans of soda and a nice steak for most :p

    To the OP, I would get the bumper put it on and measure before and after to see how much "sag" you will get. If you feel it's too much get the Bilstein 5100 and set them at 1.75". If you go with the EMU 885's you will most likely need after market UCA's (upper control arms) that range from $450-$670 because they are a lift of 2.5-3" without the bumper. Anything over two, you may have a hard time getting your alignment into spec.

    Oh and I have the All Pro bumper and the Off Road Coils and it only "sagged" about 3/8 of an inch. Check out my build for before and after pictures.

    LOL no problem, to test out if I would need new coils I stood on my front bumper and had my dad measure it. It wend down about 1/4 inch and I weigh 275Lbs. I can't say if this is do to my TRD OR coils or just a very stiff suspension in general but I haven't noticed any major problems with the stock coils.

    Now that's not to say at some point I will upgrade to the 885's and get new UCA's, but that's just because I want them not need them. As it sits now I don't see why I would ever need to put new coils on it.

    DO NOT DO WHAT MASADA IS SUGESTING.



    Combining a 3" preload spacer with Bilstien 5100' set at 1.75" will esentially remove any suspension travel you have. If getting a heavier bumper, get some front srings that are designed for it. Either 885's, etc. Simply adding more preload to an OEM spring until the lift you are looking for is NOT very smart.

    he is already running a 3" Revtec lift, and you are suggesting to add 1.75" preload to it.?? Thats way too much preload to add. If he is getting unnessesary sag (or unwanted sag) with a 3" lift already, its time to upgrade the springs to some that will do the desired job. NOT to add more preload to the OEM spring.

    Dgerm had it right. A 110# bumper is alot of weight added to the front of the truck. The OEM bumper is not 40#. Its about 5# platic, and 10# of aluminum. Maybe a little more.

    I'd get the right equipment/parts to support the bumper you are planning on instead of trying to make it work with a spacer lift.

    what would those coils set me back? where could i get them? is that all i would need would be coils?
