    My impression is that Toyota is trying to win points with the off road community by promoting their new vehicle as "off road capable" straight from the factory. If that is the case, I think they would do better to run a truly stock 4 Runner on a difficult off road trail (Rubicon trail?).

    what are you guys talking about that is almost completly stock minus the tires/roll cage/roofrack lights/rims/tire holder/paintjob/everything on the dash probably...:rolleyes::p

    They did. Just finished reading the article in 4wheel magazine about it. Other than beefier tires and rock sliders it was a completely stock 4runner. Got good reviews too

    holy crap...it should be a really good workout for everything...would be neat to see

    i like this concept....besides the marketing scheme...this would be neat to see all of the manufacturers do do this to see who has the better product
