Wheelskins Leather Steering Wheel Cover

    the first mod of this basic truck, which came with a very basic plastic steering wheel. that was not going to fly so i ordered a wheelskins two-tone cover and got to sewing. i have done this to 4 other vehicles and the X stitch is a nice look and a tighter wrap but man it takes 3 hours and a lot of thread, way more than they supply with the cover!

    here's the cover tacked in placed at each side of the spokes to locate and center the stitch line and prevent twisting. they don't say this in the instructions but i've had my share of re-wraps without this technique.

    back from the dead...this is a good option it only takes about 45 minutes to install.
