I wish to remove my center belts from my 2009 regular cab, but I can't figure out how to disconnect them at that gray "padlock" device down by the driver's belt latch. If I could, then I would just remove all that retracting stuff behind the seat. I want to be able to re-install them later if needed. Any help would be much appreciated!

Not that I've done this, but are you talking about the rear seat of a double cab?

^ hes talking about a regular cab

not too sure bout the 09s, but on my 08 i used a flathead screwdriver...i think...it was a long time ago lol i took it out like a month after i got the truck..there should be a little slot and that detatches it. i think there was a thread on this before...not too sure tho

the back is easy...its just 4 bolts once you take off the plastic cover...there aren't any sensors or anything for the middle

Yes, I have a 2009 regular cab. It's like a puzzle, no holes or slots?

There was a thread about it (a few times) how to disconnect the middle belt on the 2009+ Tacomas that dont have the slots.

I'm impatient and cut mine out:)
