    meh, i don't wanna go fast in my truck, the power would be nice for towing, but i would assume at some point, other things will need to be beefed up as well.

    yeah i wouldnt want to go as fast as that engine could push my truck

    BUT i would LOVE to be able to say i had a fucking z06 engine in my tacoma

    I can imagine, it's probably extremely TAIL HAPPY. No weight in the bed and V8 behind it....Oh yeah, it's tail happy.

    Fun to drive....but you probably gotta be really careful HOW you drive it.

    That is a waste of an LS6.

    Muscle trucks are a bad idea. They are handicapped out of the box. Spend the time and money on something that handles well, has good traction, and has good weight distribution.

    It's got to be just like the Dodge Ram Rumble Bee or whatever the hell they still call that thing with the Viper motor in it. They go fast in a straight line but are useless for just about anything else. However, cool to say you have one. Maybe if it were a spare Tacoma

    Haha sweet! Thats local to me. Maybe I will see it on the road. Seems like all the shops here in Atlanta like putting ls6's in stuff. We're just a bunch of rednecks that like to go fast here in GA :D

    BTW everyone in Atlanta, Some old friends of mine, Dan and Tracy from Batlground Engineering are putting on a Dyno day Saturday Dec 19th to benefit toys for tots. Bring a toy to donate and come to see some sick cars. Its on Atlanta Road in Smyrna GA across from Lockheed. Maybe they will be dyno'ing their 350Z drift car with an LS6 swap.

    This is an ls6 which came in the c5 z06 and was rated at 405. Plus those are flywheel hp ratings not power to the wheels.

    The ls6 has a better torque curve than a 2j which makes it more practical in a truck that weighs over 4,000 lbs.
