ok so its not a tacoma but the front end is the same :D
well since my runner on tons is taking longer to get finished than i tought i figured i better get wifes runner a little better equiped for a snow run this winter. built a little light bar and put 3 procomp 130's with hellas 100wt yellow bulbs in them
    UTTHONRUNNER003_a2367141af091abb43555b287732b9dc70cc26c8.jpg
then figured i better whip a set of sliders just in case(i dont drive so well)
i wanted to do something different for a rough surface so i tried something different. built normal sliders, 1.75" dom, with 4 attaching legs (little over kill for such a short wheelbase) but then i cut another peice of tubing longwise and drilled 1" holes in it, then welded it to the top of the slider
kinda hard to see in pics
    UTTHONRUNNER004_7deeb1fa1e962d089778d7df6f1d46ed42eb7932.jpg
it came out okay but nexttime ill do it a lil different yet.
so then next was the driveway test

well seemed to work so far
guess well see in the real world

    thats all folks

thanks for all the comments. yes i "whipped up" the sliders:D i do a little fab work every now and then. the tube ends are a billet steel end that slips into the end of the tube to make a "swoopy" finish

    heres my big project

    '90 4Runner on 1TONS , linked front and rear, and 40" creepys
and yes the "WIFES" runner gets wheeled all over NM, CO, UT, and AZ
