Don't kill me I know this has been beat to death in some other post. I have a 1 year old so my ability search all posts is sometimes limited.I am looking at buying these.

Can you guys give me your experience with them, especially ease of installation and what I may have to do (don't want to screw up my truck). Any downside to these? Anything better suited for my truck?

I don't have any experience with them but I think they look a little gimmicy with the leds and eyelids etc. I know you didn't ask for opinions on the looks but I don't think they would look that great on your truck. I think you should go with angry eyelids and spend the money on a grill mod or something else.

    Nice looking truck BTW!

Thanks bud, I really just want to darken the lights a bit so these headlights may be a bit much. I am gonna do the grille or the lights next. The grille may be a better choice.

i have personally installed a set of those headlights on another members truck. installation is a breeze, just have to tap into the parking light to get power for all the LEDs.

downsides: first, they are not OEM. this means the plastic lens is prone to UV damage and rock chips much much faster than OEM second, they use cheap projectors. OEM will give you a much better light output than those projectors. third, the LEDs are one color, the eyebrow will be another and then the projector will be another, way too much going on for me personally....

my suggestion, since you already have the smoked headlights, if you really want to do anything, take out the orange lenses and call it a day. or, do the BHLM. but if you do that, at least trade your smoked ones for some chrome ones plus cash. dont waste a good set of smoked headlights by painting them!

I bought a set of them a few months ago, still haven't put them in yet. A couple of the mounting tabs were broken during shipping. They are really flimsy tabs. I did a quick test of the LED's and not all of them were working. I like the looks of them but they aren't the best quality.
