    Nothing yet, brand new!
I heard this is the last year for the FJ to be imported to North America. I hope it's not true. I'm seriously considering getting one.

Seeing the third gen section forced me to get a Ford...
i was in a toss up between an fj and another taco when i got this one...i figured if i got a fj i'd still have to go and by a trailer and all to haul big stuff that i can stand up in my bed...little things like that kept me from it...and the hassle of child seats in the back of the fj are harder to get to than the DC

No it's not. I have seen bone stock Certified used FJ's on dealer lots with them. I just hit 22K on mine and can feel a light one on my passenger side.

Still love mine and everything about it. The back seats are a little hassle to get into if your a bigger guy but manageable.

so i test drove the fj today.i am not impressed at all.i read a bunch of complaints and some were on point. no center console.wtf with that? the driver's side armrest is too low. no pass side armrest is bogus.i though either the seats are low or the dash was high.just seemed wierd.blind spots didnt bother me since i always have a cap on with black windows.interior seemed really cheap.amp made a big difference but not that great of a system. still not sure what im going to do yet.the front seats flip up 2" like an airplane seat.so you must slide seat up to put baby in back seat.the uneven rear/ rear seats didnt bother me.no storage under the rear seats.not much storage anywhere.i so wanted to be blown away by it but wasnt. not sure what im going to do. the 4runner at $40k is out of my price range at this time frown_f4f181e0af38373b6b123f34617cf2065dbd920e.gif

    Your choice!

I love mine. Drivers side arm rest adjusts BTW. Passenger side armrest, meh $80 oh well. Oh and the drivers seat adjusts up and down as well as the lip adjusts. Miss that? Dash high? Seems that way because it's vertical and not on a slant like the Tacoma's. Interior cheap? Explain please. I find it practical and well engineered. Easy to take apart and put back together for adding accessories or switches (which I've done). I have managed to put 2 booster seats and a newborn car seat in the FJ with no problem, slide the seat forward and get in. Plenty of room. Storage? serious? You've got an entire back area behind the back seats. Engineer something, I did and if not those little areas of plastic you noticed pop out to expose little areas for storing stuff. Appears you've already got your mind set on it so... While the FJ Cruiser does have some issues that people wont look past and make little adjustments in their life for, its not for everyone.

Funny thing. My wife hated them at first. The look , the blind spots and the access doors. Now, she loves it and wants to drive it all the time. We had family up for Thanksgiving, had my son a 2 1/2 year old and a 9 month old in the rear seats with no issue other than my son being annoyed.

Happy Hunting! I would also say you just drove it. While you may call it a test drive I can assure you it was not.

i realized that the armrest adjusts from a post afterwards.i also found a thread of someone raising their seats.maybe cuz the dash is flat that threw me off.my 14 month stays inthe middle of the rear.my concern would be it might suck to get her in and out of the child seat since the front seats dont really move up.the mods you can do are really endless and i like that the most...and its still a toyota product.im affraid of going from pickups(15 years or so)to an fj might be a big mistake
i dont care if adults dont fit in the back too much.if anything it would be short trips and it wouldnt be me sitting back there :). 4runner at $40k is out of the budget this year.
