Tacoma stock ride height?

Are my leaves and coils on my truck with 177,ooo miles worn out? If not, I would like to just replace the shocks. I would love the whole sus package but low on bucks at the moment.
I know I need new shocks. but would like to keep the coils and springs if they will get me by for awhile.
so I was reading that if you measure ride height that will help you determine if leaves and coils are worn out.

anyone got any ideas on this ride height check ?

what is you're height now from ground to fender opening?

 

from center of wheel to fender is 21 3/4 for the front and 21 1/2 for the back height.
36 1/4 " for the front

35 1/2 to 3/4" for the back

 

I need some shocks!

ride height comparable to other stock trucks. I finally found some threads with pre-lift measurements. I noticed most folks are measuring from wheel center.

 

youre def sagging the rear is lower than the front. i noticed something in the back of the truck mybe thats why? the issue with measuring from the wheel up is tires are different sizes i doubt any two trucks wouls measure the same in that aspect

 

so new trucks start out higher in the back and level out eventually.

who am I kidding 175, miles. is my equipment worn out?

Oh yeah! the wood rack might be a factor.

I hate to have to go and do a job twice, but I might have to just get the shocks to save my ass when driving the two mile dirt road home everyday. then Later do the rest of suspension upgrades.

 

yes. all trucks come higher in the back than the front try looking on flea bay for some used low mile springs and shocks if youre trying to go the cost effective route

 

just made offer on ebay for some blisteins from downsouth motorsports. 300 or less for four shocks seems inexpensive. tokia shocks where 185 for four. but never heard of this brand tokia.

@gofas - did you ever find out what the stock rear ride height / fender measurement is? Looking for the same info for my 1999 Tacoma 4x4 v6 2dr extended cab.
