I'm wondering about this kit here . Would be great to get some ideas about it . I am not a true off roader , being down here in Louisiana , we have no heels or mountains lol . I would do some mudding every now and again but drive primarily on the road . I am wondering if this kit would last ? I don't have a lot of money to spend and I am wanting a kit that is easy to assemble . It does seem like this fits what I am looking for , just wondering how much negative things there are about this kit . Any information would be greatly appreciated .

Those strut extenders can cause your upper ball joints to break, I would get a set of bilstein 5100s up front for $180 and call it a day. The rear doesn't need to be lifted. Just lift the front 1.75 inches and put on some 275/70/17 tires and you will have the best setup possible

What about this kit here , seems that it's something that I can put together at home . I don't have a carrage so I will be working outside with jacks and whatever else I might need, I just don't want to have to worry about spring compressors . This kit caught my eye , seems that it gives me all of what I am looking for , just hoping the front spacers are ok , and I am sure that the AAL's would be well worth it . Opinions please ?

Thanks a lot about that there guys . Just the lack of my experience I knew would deffinitely hurt me later . I am just looking for an easy fix that I could do at home . I didn't want to have to worry about compressing any springs or what not so I guess that I why I thought that the spacers would be the easiest . Thanks again fellas .

Just curious, who's spacer lift did you have on?

I haven't heard of anyone having this problem with our spacers. There are completely two different designs when it comes to spacers....

Really? I'm actually very curious as to how your spacer kits are better.

edit-I'm not trying to argue with you, I'm honestly curious. I'm looking to get a lift of my own very soon.

I have seen BJ's screwed up by Revtecs, and most all top plate spacers. Some shot in less than 5k miles.

Just being curious here though , I know down here in south Louisiana , there aren't no mountains are any tall hills that we would be riding over to use our 4 wheel drive, just practicly mud pits . I am sure that jumping over hills with the taco's is pretty hard on the front end for the spacers , but for those of use that do not use our trucks for jumping hills or climbing rocks and stuff of that nature , I am just wondering how those spacers would give out so easily and cause so much damage as listed by Soundman1463 ?
