Yes I know that. It was just a comment on how long this thread is going on for such a simple issue.

    secret stuff.
When I ordered mine, I received a driver side with a Weathertech logo, and a passenger side with a Cabelas. Call them, and they'll send you two new ones for free.

That's wierd. They must make them for Cabelas. I wonder if they are the same quality. They are only $99 and look very similar to WTs

Yes, Weathertech's are the same exact ones with a Cabela's label.

Simple issue? This thread is about us... the consumer, demanding we get what we pay for! It's about what we deserve from corporate America!! It's about little Johnny back in Mississippi who got a defective BB gun for Christmas!!! It's about life as we know it and what has become of...sorry, I forgot what I was going to say. Anyway, let's all go back in time to the days of old when life was simple and defective mats were never an issue. Everybody...sing along! http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4ri3-yaScu0

yea a sticker is a little petty but its annoying. there is an indented area for the sticker it shoudnt fall off. And saying it doesnt affect the product isnt a good argument either. What if the centercaps fell off of your wheels? the wheels still work fine, the caps are in the dirt and mud theyre bound to fall off. Bull. if the manufacturer insists on putting the logo there so much they make an indent there then the f'er better stay there. if the surface was smooth and the sticker fell off and youd never notice then thats one thing. Call me ocd but like i said before, if it looks funny if its missing id be disappointed.

But for the record id just glue that shit back on and forget about it

Agreed. However, the fact that WT puts a plain sticker on a floormat that sees all kinds of slop is a bit strange. If they are proud of the "Made in the USA" label, stamp it into the mat or add it to the die when they are made.

Is worrying about a sticker silly, you bet. But I do feel the OP's "WTF" is warranted. Perhaps the OP was proud to display the Made in USA logo only to have it fall off.

The fact the WT charges a premium for thier mats, they should not have something like this happen IMO. My cheapy walmart ones were made in China, yet they have "Made in China" stamped into the bottom underside of the mat. Ironic isn't it?

This thread is riveting......there it is, rivets FTW, lol. Rivet those badges on & be confident in the mats being able to fulfill their advertised function. I wanna hear more about the FJ flooring. May be another way to black out more of my interior and be rid of the shitastic "carpet" that isn't even worth protecting to begin with.

What? No call to the factory (or retail outlet) to demand satisfaction for the uncalled for, Made in the Good Ol' USA, sticker defectiveness? You took things entirely into your own hands and RESTICKERIZED YOUR OWN WTs???

Sorta wonder why the original post, then...

I can relate to the questioning of simple failures on pricey hyped shit. For the price of these "mats" liners or whatever they coulda popped for better adhesive knowing they were meant for severe duty. But also, fuck it, glue it back and go more & just be glad it didn't affect function too.

I think the original post did it's job...just look at how long the thread has lived!, just wanted to see how many would agree with my concern. Easy to say, "i would not care" untill it happens to you.

Usually the only difference is the label. If you look through the Cabela's catalog there are alot of items they do this with. It's all about advertising.

this is the dumbest thread on TW in a long time.... its a sticker for fork sake.... get over it... superglue it or something... now if your tires were falling off your rim or your windows were falling off your truck then we would have an issue but its your floor mats... who cares.
