Ratchet Strap Help!!!!

Alright TWers... need some collective help trying to define or locate a vendor/ company that makes this ratchet strap with the loose ends on each side.

The longer piece is about 3' or so and the shorter with the ratchet is about 2'.

This came with N-Fab tire carrier that I ordered recently and I wanted to find some straps that were either red or black to match the truck better. Does anyone know who sells these? I tried the online stores for Lowes and Home Depot with no such luck. HELP?! Thanks in advance TW.

Chris(4x4) says try Black Shoe Polish! I may have to try that! Any other ideas?

 

You can make some. The nylon straps you can prob get from ebay or any type of fabric outlet. Then you can take the straps to an alterations shop and they should be able to hook you up with what you need.

 

I have seen black nylon strap at Ace Hardware all around the Valley. Call around, I'm sure it is more common than you think.

just get yourself an ordinary set of rachet straps, take grinder/hacksaw and cut off the metal hooks !!! BINGO

I'm sure an upholstery shop could whip up any color you want for a very reasonable price.

 

check around harbor freight they have lots of stuuf like this but i doubt they will but its worth a tryy ya know

 

Oooh I forgot about Harbor Freight. Theres one within 2 miles.

 

Welp.. because the gf has yet to get up (and make breakfast!! , yes it's noon in arizona ) I've decided to goof around and grabbed the nearest can of black spray paint and give the strap a shot of a paint. I'll let you all know how it goes.

So far the paint is holding up quite well. letting it bake in the sun a little more today

God only knows how much it may or may not bleed once it rains.
