    Hey TW

Got a question, i have a 99 taco and i really like the size difference that the 01-04 taco have on the side mirrors. i want to install some 01-04 side mirrors but i currently have manual mirrors and was wondering if the 01-04 manual mirror work just like the 99 mirrors?? is there a little rod that goes through the door to adjust from the inside or do you just move the mirror by hand like the 99?? thanks:D

yes it will work. Some of the mirrors do have the rod to adjust on the inside. You can install anything up to 2004 mirrors, and they will work. Obviously, if you want to put the power 01-04 mirrors, you will need to wire..I plan on doing this as soon as I can find some reasonably priced mirrors.

ok so the manual mirrors for the 01-04 all are adjusted from the inside rod?? or do they normally dont have a rod. id rather that they didnt that way i dont have to make a hole in the corner trim to accept the adjustment rod.

no "rod" on mine, there is a square button on the arm rest that you use to control them...

wiring should be easy, just cut before the harnesses and replace with your harnesses...

Not all are adjustable with the rod. Some are, some are electric and some you have to manually adjust from the outside.

What do you need to see? Each of the Tacos use 3 bolts/nuts to hold them in. There is a hole between the 3 bolts ready for the install of the electrical ones.
