Has anyone tried to paint the 2 black horizontal inserts that are in the grill? I've been to 2 diff body shops and one said that the paint wouldn't stick the other said it could be done without a problem. Any help is appreciated. Thanks

Yes you can do it. Use radiator paint so as not to affect the heat properties of the radiator.

The whole thing is painted except the "triangle" cut-outs next to the headlights. Those weren't painted because it's basically impossible to prep them for painting.

I like it, good work. Did you do it, or did the shop?

I had a body shop paint the grill and the eye lids at the same time so the color would match.
