    You are probably going to pay less for a vinyl applique than a hard plastic piece. It'll just stick on. When/if you get tired of it- PUll it off and use a cleaner wax to to get off the adhesive.

    You can get one from a member that has an XR or go to xr-underground.com and see if one of the members have one available. Then you would paint it silver.

    Silver or flat black looks best on the blacks.

    so why would an xr have a valance cover? do they come with them?
