My sensors are strapped to the inside of my rims using a product similar to this. Discount tire did all the work for me.

No issues. Have had them on there a few months. There's another member here, jeremiekc who has had them for longer. No issues for him either.

Before you Do any of this, see if your sensors fit in the new wheels... it could not even be an issue! I do a lot of tpms work. The only problem that you'll run into with the sensors is the angle of them and how the sit in the wheel. if they dont sit correctly they will break when you try to set the bead. But a lot of the times I can use the sensors for aftermarket wheels. take it to toyota or a tire shop and ask them to put the sensor in the wheel and see if it will work before they just tell you it wont. Toyota would be the better bet, the tire shops around here dont give a shit about sensors or know anything about them.

I have the same rims. They're compatible. No tpms problems at all.

Only concern I have is that the sensors are fairly easy to break when they remove them and reinstall them on your new wheels. So if your tpms isn't working, chances are they broke one. Happened to me, and numerous others on the site.

They'll generally replace them free of charge though if you point it out :)
