Here are a few pics of the Padre Island National Seashore Jan 2010 Run


Thanks to everyone's help with my truck's carnage. It was great meeting you guys. Me and Cam both agree that you guys are nuts driving as fast as you do. I have a different outlook on the strength and reliablity of Pro Comp and Fabtech lifts

The conditions were really varied from hard packed sand to deep sand to small to large whoops. It was a 120 mile round trip all on the beach.

Good times.

I only posted a few pics because there were a few really good photographers with us and I don't want to steal their thunder.

Here is my buddy helping to fix my bump stop stuck under the pad. Again if it wasnt for Texasislandboy's dremel the day would have been over.

06haole, your truck looks sick

 

it is saw it go threw a set of 2 1/2 foot tall whoops and not have one tire come of the ground its sick

 

I saw a big red truck with its front wheels off the ground. I saw a big blue truck do the same thing. I saw a silver Tacoma fishtail side to side like it was going out of style. I saw a dark blue truck flying down the beach until his tranny got hot. I saw a white truck leading the way for all of us and climbing ridiculous walls of sand with all 4 wheels locked and churning.

Almost forgot the Jeep...They mainly cruised but tore it up in the mud.


Drew and his buddy camped out in the cold. You guys are mountain men. Im sure they will post crazy camping pics.

 

I just got home. As soon as I eat I'll post a few quick pics and process the rest later.
I have a picture of a blue Tacoma almost vertical with the front wheels about 3' up in the air.

Well, they did sleep in the same tent... and a rather small one I might add.
So in their honor... I'll dedicate this picture to them. After all, it is the very same sunrise they got to share together this morning when they rolled out of their tent.
