Did some stuff to the taco!

I finally finished the black wheels and the front lower bumper! It took me a week but it was well worth it. Here are some pics!

 

Looks good. What kind of paint for the front?

 

Your truck looks really nice. Painting my stock alloys black is my next mod.

 

nice! i was wondering what those rims would look painted... was thinking of doing the same.

 

I used rust-oleum primer, rust-oleum multy colored textured, dupli flat black and rust-oleum clear mate.

Looks Great! why did it take a week though? What kinda paint did you use for the wheels?

 

over how long of a stretch did that take ya? 2,3,4 days? did you paint em with em still on the tires? on the truck?

All For that bumper piece...lol,The wheels took 4 days because of the sanding and its so cold out right now that the paint does not dry as fast. the bumper 2 days because my buddy and i got carried away with the beer.

 

Sweet. I have been debating on painting mine.

thanks! was just wondering how long to expect my truck to be outta commission while the rims got a makeover... when and if i do it.

 

I first did two coats of the paint adhesive, then two coats of dupli primer, two coats of dupli flat black, and two coats of rust-oleum clear mate.
