Heres a few pics of my trip down to SC. I decided to visit my friend who's stationed down at Shaw AFB while I'm on my winter break. The pics are from Manchester State Forest (we researched before we went and as far as we knew everywhere we went was legal). It was nothing crazy, just mainly forest access roads but I did manage to get high centered pretty bad. It was the first time I really got to test out my OME complete kit and I was very impressed, although the only thing I have to compare was the stock TRD billies. Enjoy.

    IMG_0065_b1fb66830cef76eb670bc4346aa5abc579c05cd5.jpg

Very fun day, especially since I never get to do this stuff in NY where I live. Scratched the hell outa my truck but well worth it. I also snapped the two plastic brackets off on my driver side tail light where the mounting screws go into...pretty pissed about that. Epoxy'd as a temp fix but im gonna see if my warranty covers it and try to get a new light out of it.

    a shortwheelbase isnt always good...

i like the xterra...does he stay on base or in sumter? or does he live elsewhere?

theres a blue xterra running around columbia that has a shrockworks bumper but i think it had different tires and there wasnt a huge gap between the truck and bumper

he lives just outside sumter in dalzell. i always make fun of that gap in his truck, he installed the bumper before his 2 in body lift. when wouldnt a short wheel base be good? im new to wheelin in general.

I grew up not too far from there and spent many, many days hunting that forest. I know that place very well. Killed some great bucks there too. Thats a pretty area. Ya'll should of gone into the swamp.

yeah probably, i knew i wasnt going to make it but i wasnt worried since i was with my buddy and i have a good recovery strap.

thanks, most of the day i was in 2HI, it wasnt anything too demanding and it was dry. a few times i needed 4HI and only used 4LO when i was high centered.

all the actual trails were for atvs and dirtbikes, we were just on the access roads and random dirt roads.
