Breakfree where it needs oil but tetra grease on the slide and lugs. I love tetra grease it doesn't wear off quickly. I've shot 200 rounds of 9mm in a single range visit and had no problems with a pistol that constantly had issues when I used oil.

As a firearms instructor and Beretta Certified armorer the best thing I can recommend is Rem Oil. Grease lubricants test to attract more dirt and after time will get caked up. Remove your slide and put a small drop in each of the metal areas where you can see wear. Use it sparingly. Put the slide back on, rack it a couple times and then wipe down the frame with a clean rag.

CLP and Breakfree are both great! Hoppes 9 is by far the best cleaning solvent on the market...IMO...and it smells great too!

The only time I ever grease a gun is when it is going to be stored for a LONG period of time. I grease the internals thoroughly and wipe it down with a silicone impregnated rag being extremely careful not to get the oils from my hands back on the gun.

The down side of greasing a gun is it has to be cleaned and oiled THOROUGHLY before it is fired again.

Miltec is fantastic. After i clean my guns i wipe off the excess miltec and they NEVER get a single spot of rust. Even after a over a year. That is amazing to me. Never happened with any other stuff.

Another vote for Hoppes after Hoppes. A good wipedown, and frequent use...

Not much. Step bars, K&N air filter
Hoppe's semi auto to clean and rem oil to lube. Then I use a silicone cloth. I use that combo on my XD-40 sub, ruger P90, ak-47, sks, rem 870, marlin 795...and the rest of them. dont have time to list them all :)

i typically lubricate my glock with sand after every 5000 rounds. never had a ftf or fte. just kidding i use rem oil on all my guns- long guns, short guns, wheel guns, semi autos and it works like its supposed to.

buy some big dessicant silica gel packs and put em in your safe or gun case for long term storage.

Militec-1 , use it up here in alaska cause regular gun oil gums up when it gets cold. Met the owner of the company when i attended the beretta armorer course. rem-oil with teflon second choice.
