I have been to Afghanistan twice, alot of our partner forces, ANA, ANP ect. roll about 15-20 deep in the Hilux version of the Taco, and I have seen these trucks go into and out of some pretty interesting terrain, this is one of the main reasons I decided to suck up the monthly payments and get me a brand new Taco.
Anybody else get their toyota interest sparked watching Haji drive a Toyota pickup around the desert???

I have only seen 1G or pre-Tacomas in 3rd world areas. I haven't seen any 2G Tacos sporting a bed mounted weapon and 6-10 people around it. I figured two reasons for that: 1) the new ones are DAMN expensive and 2) the old ones run FOREVER!!

The ANA and ANP in our AO were rolling around in Ford Rangers with bed-mounted weapons.
