How much does that go for? Is it precut? or do you have to cut it yourself?

I believe you have to cut it yourself...Just make sure you take your time. Get the bubbles out. My friend did it for me, if I had to do it I would have likely screwed up.

    My fenders are also vinyl.

its is not precut nor can it be made to precut the angles are too complicated btw... its a REAL PITA!!! I had it but it looked like shit so I tore it off... I have another and I'm considering trying again, maybe I'll paint it.

It does not stretch well cold (heat it up with a dryer to make it more flexible)

Agreed that is why my friend did it...did not mind paying the extra money for the install cause I know it would be done right...He uses a torch to make it flex and the vinyl I got was good stuff and does not produce air bubbles. My buddy wraps race cars for a living. Here is a Porsche he did for some rich guy.

^ why would somebody want to do that?

    bumper vinyl...
    yes, it is a PITA!

gloss conforms better than the flat.

but take your time and trim as you go.

it may take up to an hour for the layman (and me)

Some Rich guy just wanted his Porsche to be different and didn't want it permanent I guess. It think it's sick, I would love to have my truck flat black...to each his own i guess.

I bought some black vinyl from a hobbie store and tried it on the front- it was the biggest PITA and looked like absolute ASS! I ripped it off and will prolly just get it spray bedlined. I apparently am horrible at applying stickers.

My guess would be for sponsorship stickers if it's a race car. Would show up better on the black.

Since it is an exotic the owner was probably trying the stealth approach to radar gun avoidance. Probably pretty tough to aim for the headlights or glass to get a reading on the gun.

Just take your time. You will have to cut it as you go. I found heating it up and working from one one side to the other, top to bottom worked the best. I also used a plastic pan scraper wrapped in a towel to push out any air bubbles as I worked along. If any folds do happen, it will likely be on the lower half, but it won't be seen anyways as it curves under the bumper out of sight.

Just remember you can always do it again if you screw up bad enough. I picked up enough vinyl to do the bumper twice over for less than 8 bucks, so it's definitely not expensive.

    Good luck
