Blacked out Emblems

    Rockford Fosgate p2 10'', Q-Logic Enclosure, JVC KD-PDR30 Ipod Connection, Rockford p200.2 Amp, Clear Corners, KING Coilovers, Rancho Rear shocks FJ TRD Trail Teams Wheels with 285/75/16 Duratracs
    Would you suggest painting the 1st generation emblems? I have only seen it done on 2nd generations.

    I guess what i'm trying to ask is if anyone has had success painting the 1st generation emblems.

    There shouldn't be any difference between the 2 gens.

    Yeah, forgot about the tailgate ones. Those would be a PITA to remove and paint.

    wheels, tires, sound system, hid headlights, 1st gen fog light mod, tinted tails hella 500s on custom light bar, dust light, led white guages/dash lights, color matched grille, exhuast, blacked bumper and accents....
    mines a 2000 and i had no problems taking them off and painting them
    i used some fishing line and a thin piece of plastic to "saw" them off

    to be honest i was planning on throwing them away so i wasn't careful

    port and polish intake manifold, supercharger, pulley for charger, lifted, tires, deckplate, (doing full engine build)
    i painted mine only to have um get plucked off! hahaha and then my grill too but it keeps chipping becuase of the fact i drive way to much.

    anyone paint the retaining clips for their lights? the assebly style ones? the chrome ones on the square first gen lights....

    no its like a ring that holds the light in. little chrome thing goes around the light keeps it in the truck. um its rusting and i dont want it looking shitty.
