Does anybody know of any way to fix chipped paint in a way that you wouldn't be able to tell it ever happened? (Besides sanding it down and re-doing it all?)

I bought a Silver Tacoma a few months back. It has a pretty bad spot on the back corner of it that the guy must have hit when he was taking off the shell. He tried to fix it with touch up paint but you can still tell it was there.
