Just installed a front skid plate on my 2010 tacoma, the instruction say to have a max gap from the skid plate to bumper of 20mm, well i have more than that. Any assistance??

How much more? mine is a little over 20mm if I recall. I could not see any way to make it less as far as adjustments.

This is the only pic I have of mine. You can see the gap between bumper and plate. It does not really bother me and is easier to clean the bumper behind the plate when I wash the truck.

Yours looks a little farther out then most I have seen. Maybe its just the angle of the shot but it looks like it sticks out a littler further. Here is mine, the pic isnt the greatest but you get the picture.

I installed mine back in 06 and it was about 1" apart, that distance became like 1/4" after the first off-road trip:D:D

The OEM Aluminum Skid Plate is easy to bend with pliers, mask the jaws of the pliers and fit it to your taste. The wider the pliers are, the easier it will be to adjust, I've done it many times with mine.:cool:

Just ask the closest dealer for a little help. They'll probably tell you if it needs to be adjusted.
