Curious about bed caps. What type do you have? ARE, Century, Leer. Short or long bed? Color matched? Happy with product? Cost?

I have a ARE V series. I bought it second hand for $700. I have it stripped down now and am waiting for a chance to spray paint it to match my truck. It is white and I am painting it magnetic grey. Happy so far, hopefully it matches.

I have an ARE MX series, and I love it. After all was said and done though, it was definitely pricey. Pushing 2 grand. But worth every penny in my book....

Leer. I think the model is 100R. Found it on CL for 650. The guy I got it from only had it for a few months before he decided he didn't want it. No issues with it so far.

Soundproofed cab, beeps purged, bed lights, extra bed tie-downs and TSB springs.
Leer 100R for $700 from a guy on CL. Fortunately for me, Silver Streak Mica is common, so the color matched without any effort on my part.

It's their base model, and as such, it has some niggles. I hate the fact that it is about a half inch lower than the roof of the cab. It's just an appearance thing, but it wore on me. Also, the last 6" of the bed are prone to getting doused when I open the rear glass as water from the glass doesn't have a bypass gutter.

Overall, though, I'm happy I got it. It makes dealing with my whitewater kayaks super easy and keeps things nearly dry.

Mine's a Leer 100XQ. The only option I got was the removable rear window. Solid as a rock. 1 1/2 years and no issues so far. I paid $1,560 installed.

I got an ARE CX on CL. It used to be blue but was painted black at some point in time. Paint looks like it matches pretty good, but isn't the smoothest finish. I can't complain too much, as I think I got a good deal for it. I was a little skeptical about the mounting blocks as they are just plastic, but it has worked great so far.
