when you compare specs between the two side by side, there is little difference. Tacoma may have a little more room here and the equator mat have some there..... overall they are very close. (i however dont agree with your "plastic bed" statement, because although the curb weight is 98lbs lighter on the taco, the equator supposedly has 261 horse and the taco has 236..... so the equator "SHOULD" make up for that 98lb difference.)

It comes down to aesthetics and personal choice. I, personally have owned a few nissans and they sucked. If its not a timing issue, its the tranny. Again, personal opinion, but thats all. Im not going to be a douche and say "equator > tacoma", when they are identical lol.

This is a TACOMA ENTHUSIAST website, why wouldn't you think people would defend their truck?

Personally, I think you are very arrogant for the way you talk around here. There are teenagers that know plenty more than adults when it comes to their trucks. That being said, I strongly dislike you.

Again, I'm sorry to have offended your vehicle preference.

Not my vehicle preference. You blatantly insulted members on the forum because they disagreed with you. How mature is that?

    I'd trade my tacoma in a heartbeat for a 85 4runner + ducati 848.

Yeah, I like my tacoma, but I'm not one of those "OMG TACOMAS R DA BEST EVERYTING ELS SUX" types which are too damn common on here.

Also, everyone elses "Toyotas are bullet proof" opinions are based on models that aren't sold in the US. Just makin sure ya'll know this.
