Paint?

Fiance is getting a '99 Integra LS Tomorrow. Mechanically it's in good shape, only 106K miles, new brakes/tires/battery/windshield wipers. Had a mechanic neighbor take a look at it and he says it seems good. Only problem is the paint is somewhat less than beautiful.

Can anything be done to this paint to bring it back to look somewhat decent?

Or do we have to re-paint it. Probably gonna paint it black if we do.

 

I'm not an expert, but maybe try wet sanding it? clay bar, then wax?

It's hard to tell, but the top of the bumper/trunk door looks real bad, you may need to repaint.

The commuter car is quickly turning into what may be a project..... May have some fun with this thing. Got to drive it Today and while it's not exactly "fast", it's damn fun to drive.

 

yah it looks a little beyond repair...can always try buff it up and see but yeah repaint looks to be your best bet
