After searching online for a DIY i couldnt find anything helpfull, only thing that helped was a video from youtube. Heres a quick rundown of the way i installed my leather, hope this helps!

with 2 people working together it took about 4 hours for the rear.

Tools i used...i heard the hog ring pliers are hard to find and can be expensive, luckily i went to Acehardware and found a pair for $10 and a box of 100 hog rings for $3.

    qyd8cy_c16944566968698f02777001b7e3c6d643ab1819.jpg
I first took apart the rear seats...

    25iluab_7df01b8132af39e6dad8385bba1f64119590117f.jpg

flipped it over and pulled apart the stock fabric...in the cracks youll see hog rings clamped to a metal rod. using your tool snap/break it off by applying pressure and twisting.

    2r39xsk_f126725e797332ae2a1d056dcd71a9823bb45929.jpg

Turn the leather inside out and place over your seat...

    ix8kch_85c27b24bc382107194212abce9bd49c1e7ce675.jpg

Next you will be using your Hog Ring Tool...

    16c6ivm_a117d79a957c3469e80734dc227826d9a23a8b7d.jpg

as you can see it comes with a plastic linning. you insert that between the cracks. at the bottom is a metal rod. thats where you'll attached the ring to.

    11rg3r6_fb89ddb041c4ed726fb0114f2112c01b2918fe99.jpg

    1eazgw_d6fc968564715c2fc73f8da0beae4b72de3cb9bf.jpg

each side has 2 places where youll need to add a hog ring...heres what one side looks like...

    28a4aa1_586d2ae2b4cfce07cda3ba77cc13101a5230611c.jpg

after you apply all the hog rings to the needed places you then pull the leather over the seats. flip it over and it should look like this...then you need to pull the leather over the wedge and push it down so it locks into place. start on one side and work your way around.

    2ho8hp2_cb7a66b4e2727f6691d9b2a8df9b406bf750d90c.jpg

heres what it looks like finished.

    svnz34_4a977b2ef6ea3a3d7904b4a60efd078c57c8ec61.jpg

    on to the next seat...

Repeat the steps and take apart the stock fabric...

    m9oj9x_613587a3806f1832fe1725c8fcda3d0b0cd2826b.jpg

You need to take apart the plastic back piece...pull the squared corners and with a socket wrench unscrew everything....

    20i9zyf_e667b340a6ed9c2e4dd9132bca439b05fb336094.jpg

    2hnyjgo_0074bd9ee0706845cd76ea3b71005aaca0531008.jpg

heres what it should look like...break/snap off the stock hog rings...

    2l8di4g_f8b634cff34dfd76b105658a4299acd0bdc6b3dd.jpg

    Pull apart the stock fabric...

    140i21_8f6db3ddce601b14808a851e9daa83673a6e8ce6.jpg

Then you need to follow the steps from the other seat, turn the leather inside out, place it over and insert the plastic linning into the cracks then use your hog ring tool and attach the rings to the metal rod. after pull over the leather and just like the stock fabric add hog rings all around...

    2mdjdpd_3a4ba9caf65efe389a579e33e97bda6320410bad.jpg

    1582oug_379fa391f0715aaf6c4fb17025f5a4b9311a43e1.jpg

the right side had a pre-cut hole for this strap but my left side didnt so i cut a small hole using a exacto knife or blade then pulled it out...

    33wodvk_a1473b1f61ce12a3f09701794641b09ba3f6ea8a.jpg

cut another whole for the seat belt...

    29vcwzs_d25f8f9e2bcda44a1dc17e00ff5f87a346dbbba9.jpg

In the begining i forgot to mention that you need to take apart the headrest POST by looking from the back, you simply pinch the side and push up.

Here when the leather is now on...using your fingers feel on top for the "square shaped" hole. when your positive on where its at cut a small X in the middle.

    11btc49_a3c65ed97d850f4756c8f47c46476df747a809dc.jpg

    25uqq1t_f311afd757241830d3718a9ea33020d3a4a916e5.jpg

Insert the headrest post through the top of the hole, i guess the bigger the hole is the easier it might be but i was scared to cut to much...

    ckf1t_2cf1e6e197039c0eb704f51e3634734649603180.jpg

It was a pain to fit it all the way down so i hammered it down

    250m3nn_eaf43ac019560ea7e732fa1bc8645d7d1788e525.jpg

NOW that everythings done, put the back plastic together and your seats are FINISHED!

    2vvv1qu_f2d159564323deb6ec307bd89593694e0beb99c5.jpg

i finished late so i didnt get to fix all the tiny imperfections but ill get to it soon, next ill be doing the front seats with seat warmers, head rest and my custom leather armrest!

**Sorry for the crappy cell phone pics.

Good start. You're factory upholstery looked like it was in pretty rough shape.

For any Canadians thinking of doing this I found the hog ring pliers and hog rings at Princess Auto. I think it was $10 for the pliers and $5 for a box of rings. Of course I found them there after I purchased some online for about $35!

Not sure, probably gay though. They have all sorts of stuff there. I have never been to a harbor freight but I'm thinking they sell some similar stuff as they do. Looking at Harbor website I wouldn't be surprised if they were the same company.

DAMN that finished pic looks AMAZING! Good job!

Harbor freight is AMAZING.. if Princess Auto has anything by Chicago Electric, its the same company.

Where did you get the leather from? Is there a site where you can just get the leather pre-made and then do all this?

If you hear creaking/rattling from the rear seats going over the bumps in the cold weather, check the rectangle hole that you cut and the plastic cover for the middle seat belt. The plastic parts rub against each other making the noise. Took me a long time to find where the noise came from. Didn't happen with cloth seats.
