My 04 double cab tacoma came stock with fender flares. I took the fender flares off and replaced them with chrome fender trim. The fender trim doesn't completly cover the small holes that the fender flares left behind where they were mounted. Does anyone have any idea how to fill in these holes without having to repaint the entire truck?

if you can bondo from the back side and then sand and touch up paint. (spray kind only) best bet unless you want to put the old ones back on

to do it right you will have to grind around the holes to bare metal weld them shut then grind , primer ,and paint them you dont have to paint the entire truck just both fenders and both bedsides

Very expensive to do it right if you don't like the black flares you can have them painted at a much lower cost and put the chrome flares on your lowrider.

3 in Ultimate ToyTec, set @ 2.5 in. AAL PINCH Weld Mod ( beat the pinch weld over inside the fender) Painted the pinch weld on bottom of cab Black Hi Lift Knock off
Maybe get some torx or allen head screws with washers and have a line of bolts color matched. Or like CMACK said get some plastic plugs.Bbetter than holes in the fenders but still not right.

Best fix is put the flares back on. Second best is weld up the holes grind it down and paint.

Put the flares back on! They look cool. If yours are black, paint them to match. It looks a lot better than that chrome fender trim. Didn't you hear? Chrome is out! ha ha

I wondered that too... If they're gonna crush the truck, why not strip every part possible from it before you turn it in? I'm talking seats, dash, fenders, beds, etc. Is there any restrictions on that? I mean, someone should be getting use out of these parts shouldn't they???
