Not so good buy

Wow man that sucks. But like it has been said before, if the dealer didnt know then you are probably stuck with it.

 

You know, you all are bashing carfax but they do have a buy back guarantee if you discover it was in an accident... I'd be looking into that since you have one.

 

^Exactly. I was just looking at their site to verify that before I posted about it. Looks like you would've had to "register" with Carfax, though.

maybe the dealers didnt know it was like that. some jerk probably traded it in to them and didnt mention it.

 

Well I had the body shop take a look at it and the head tech said that it was assembled fine and that it would be safe to drive. the only thing they could have done a little better was dress dress it up a lil more. needless to say I will be keeping my taco and moding it shortly!

 

I think I would still dig more into why it had to be repaired, that is not a normal spot to just cut and replace. Also that a pillar is part of the vehicle's stability in wreck right?

 

A pillar took a good hit but it seems like most of the stability is in the back of the cab.

 

They almost got away with my mirror too. Good thing the gas pedal was stuck to the floor or they may have stolen that too
