I need advice on a lift kit

I am thinking about getting the fj cruiser wheels http://www.hubcaphaven.com/mm5/merc...uct_Code=3707&Category_Code=713&Store_Code=HC and 285/75 R 16's. I was wondering what kind of lift I need to get. I have a 2009 tacoma with the TRD off road packkage.

 

They are 16x7.5 so they aren't very wide. You can fit 31" or 33" tires. With the tacoma if you go 33" you'll most likely need at least a 3" lift. I have the toytec ultimate lift kit with 33"s on 17x9 rims. See what you think. do you 4 wheel alot?

 

I've just got 265s but from what I've heard you're gonna need a 3" front and 2" rear to run 285s. Something like the Old Man Emu kit. You'll probably also have to use wheel spacers and/or trim under the wheel wells. Someone may correct me though...good luck, 285s definitely look better than 265s IMO
